Full Journal pdf1995-05-11 Senate Journal Page 1734 HB 233 Message dated May 10 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 233(FIN) am and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendments, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 233(FIN) am S "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Clinical Social Work Examiners, Board of Marine Pilots, Board of Marital and Family Therapy, State Medical Board, Board of Nursing, Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners, Real Estate Commission, Special Education Service Agency, Correctional Industries Commission, and Hazardous Substance Spill Technology Review Council; and providing for an effective date." In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Kott, Chair Representative Martin Representative Davies The Speaker granted limited powers of free conference to the conferees. The specific points are forthcoming. Senator Halford moved that the Senate recede from its amendments and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendments to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 233(FIN) am?" YEAS: 7 NAYS: 12 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Duncan, Ellis, Hoffman, Lincoln, Salo, Zharoff Nays: Frank, Green, Halford, Kelly, Leman, Miller, Pearce, R.Phillips, Rieger, Sharp, Taylor, Torgerson Excused: Donley and so, the Senate failed to recede. The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Rieger, Chair Senator Kelly Senator Salo President Pearce granted the Senate members limited powers of free conference on the dates only. The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
